| In pursuance of its resolve to help the youth of the State in matters of overseas placements, the State Government constituted an Overseas Placement Committee in the year 2005, under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Minister for Employment. This Committee exercises the delegated authority of the Government in all matters
to decide about the formation and functioning of a Society for the purpose of setting up the Overseas Placement Bureau.
The Overseas Placement Committee approved the constitution of a Society in the name of ‘Haryana Overseas Placement Assistance Society’ in the year 2006 comprising the following:
